Colleagues and friends from across ASEAN and beyond,
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 5th ASEAN PharmNET Conference 2026, to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 9–11 September 2026.
ASEAN PharmNET was built on a shared vision, to strengthen collaboration among pharmacy educators, researchers, practitioners, and students across Southeast Asia. As our region continues to evolve in healthcare delivery, pharmaceutical sciences, and digital health, the importance of regional cooperation has never been greater. This conference represents more than a scientific meeting; it is a platform for unity, partnership, and collective progress.
Kuala Lumpur, fondly known as KL, is a vibrant city where cultures meet, ideas connect, and innovation thrives. It is a fitting host for this milestone 5th gathering. Malaysia's strong healthcare ecosystem, growing research capacity, and commitment to regional engagement reflect the spirit of ASEAN PharmNET.
The theme of this conference reflects our mission to advance pharmacy practice and education through regional synergy, innovation, and shared responsibility. Over the three days, the scientific programme will feature key discussions on:
- Advancements in pharmacy education
- Clinical pharmacy and patient-centred care
- Pharmaceutical research and innovation
- Digital health and AI in pharmacy
- Public health and regional policy collaboration
Through symposia, oral and poster presentations, and networking sessions, the conference offers valuable opportunities to exchange knowledge, build research partnerships, and inspire the next generation of pharmacy leaders. ASEAN PharmNET strongly believes that progress happens when we work together, across institutions, disciplines, and borders. This meeting is designed to foster meaningful connections that will continue long after the conference concludes.
Beyond the academic programme, Kuala Lumpur offers rich cultural experiences, world-renowned cuisine, and convenient connectivity, making it an ideal destination for both professional engagement and exploration. We hope you will take time to experience the warmth and diversity that Malaysia has to offer.
I warmly invite you to participate, share your expertise, and contribute to shaping the future of pharmacy in our region. Let us come together to strengthen our network and move forward with a shared commitment to excellence in pharmacy.
I look forward to welcoming you personally to Kuala Lumpur in 2026.
With warm regards,
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Renukha Sellappans
